TREASURER’S REPORT FOR THE 2025 SEASON

A copy of the audited Income & Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet for the year ended 31 December 2025 follows this report. 

INCOME

Income, excluding Donations, amounted to £13,768 an increase of £482 (3.63%)

Total permit income of net £6,914 shows a decrease of £165 (-1.82%). Member permits were £5,298 up £672 (14.5%). Visitor revenue fell to £1,616 down £800 (-33.1%).

EXPENDITURE

Stocking

£5,016 was spent on stocking, an increase of £677 (15.6%) over the previous year.

A total of 581 rainbow, weighing 1,350lb were stocked in 2025 compared to 669 fish weighing 1,275lbs in 2024. (2025 average weight 2.32lb and £8.63 each fish)

Lease and permit expenses

All lease costs and are the same as last year. Lannsaidh permits were increased to help cover the increased cost of stocked fish (together with a reduced bag limit)

Repairs and Maintenance

The repairs & maintenance costs increased to £1,050.00 (54.9%). This includes extra provision for stones for the road to Lannsaidh.

Permit sales

The extra facility for members to book using the “pay directly” option has meant more members can book permits.

FIXED DEPOSIT

The club has stayed with BOS as although they now have a monthly charge, this is off set by an Instant Access saver account. I have reverted to removing the club’s deposit back into an individual’s name as the BOS give inferior rates for the Club.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY

The profit for the year 2025 amounted to £1,705 compared with profit of £1,827 for the year to December 2024, a decrease of 6.68%.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PERMITS

The Annual Membership tariff will remain:

£  3.00 for Juniors under 18, who must fish with an adult;

£30.00 for Adult members;

£25.00 for even more experience aged (65 ) Adult members.

Members are reminded that the Annual subscriptions are due at the AGM, but can be paid direct to the Treasurer or using online banking Bank of Scotland 80-06-36 acct 00364809 please enter your name and membership number in the payment narrative.
